Deenga is a folk quintet from Kolkata have catapulated to fame recently.Their presentation of Folk songs and Originals boasts of an invigorating originality which set's them apart from hundred's of other bands.Deenga's originality is not a deliberate cynical hypocrisy.

In fact it is he result of their willingness to  consider any Folk elements as a viable element.

One of the reason's why Deenga is so inseparably tight-other then sheer determination and hard work is the fact that it likes in the like mindedness of the members in the field of music.

On 2004 Deenga released its first album it was an ambitious venture,which succeeded in taking the band out of their reahersal pad and thrust them into the bigger arena of music-AND SO THE JOURNEY CONTINUES.............
