Motherjane has also won the award for Best Rock Act at AVIMA 2009! Suraj was nominated in the category Best Rock Vocalist!

Guys I love your style. For me it is a mixture between KISS watching your faces) and the cultural Indian style. Showing respect this way to a very good band and of course a fantastic culture. Besides this your music is fantastic!!! |

I like rock music since my childhood. I had received the first examples of rock music from my elder brother who is the big admirer of the rock music. I like this group because they are the bearers of the great traditions of the classical rock. |

i am abig fan of u guys...recently u guys came to kolkata,,,it was fab...being a musician myself i specially loved the fabulous application of karnatic classical in ur guitar in the song Fields of Sound along with the bass...n the solo is amazing...hats off to all u guys...u guys are an ideal example of what we call tight performers on stage...wat a sync... |

first of all i must say, the look is brilliant! the iron maiden with indian subtones is clear with its medieval fantasy fable theme but its more modern than that. a very international sound but thats only expected with their influences and experience. what i like about motherjane , besides the funky name is the fact that though they are seriously moulded as artists of progressive rock new listenwers are eased into the genre . motherjane is definately somebody's big daddy when it comes to prog. enjoy! |
