The name of a restaurant in a Tarantino movie, a handful of dreamy youngsters and an irresistible urge for original music, led to the formation of jack rabbit. This is music which transverses language barriers, this is the sound of the society getting to know itself; this is modern India going back to the roots and a reflection of those roots in our lifestyle. From influences as diverse as the post punk and grunge movement, the 70s experimental music, European classical, blues, alternative to Hindustani classical, folk and jazz the amalgamation of these sounds lead to what the music of the band is about.

 With a certain sense of simplicity and honesty in the sound which people can easily relate to, originals such as 'Ananya' and 'Bhor' have helped the band to reach out to a variety of audiences.

Soulful melodies and thought provoking lyrics… this "rabbit" is here to make a difference.
