"Confounded" is an idea, a way of living, which leads to music, leads to creation, leads to direct release of emotions. Confounded started as a one man band in 2006 by "Amirreza Amirebrahimi" as it's both musician and composer. born in 4th of September, 1986, makes him a young experimental musician. The project started in Tehran, Iran. and currently is progressing in India. In it's early days, songs were based on just a classical guitar, and some synth effects. And that's how things started. The first free-released song by Confounded was "Eerie". After becoming more serious, and some changes in the musical moods, Confounded changed it's mood to Dark Ambient. The most admired track of Confounded in it's dark ambient era is "Mid-Eastern Lullaby". A Song from "Despondency" album, The first Album of Confounded. Some other still dark but heavily emotionalized tracks like "End of a winter" made "Despondency" totally a dark album. In "Despondency", Confounded invited an guest member for some of tracks, like the second part of "End of a winter", the guest guitarist for the album was "Milad Rahpeima", A very close friend to "Amir". whom he had so many similarities with him in his musical moods. Then with some changes in musician's life, like moving to India, the genre of the music also changed, those changes are obvious in a newly released tracks of "4th Dimension Distinctions" album, like "Her peaceful moment", which is a dedication. Mood is obviously changed to more ambient type of music, in other words, there is less darkness in it, and more light! One of the latest projects of Confounded is a project which Amir did it with members of "Pharos", a Persian progressive rock band. The project named "October Emotions". This project has released free on the internet. In this album, you can find huge differences, something between ambient of Confounded, and Rock of Pharos. which leaded to a nice new result. And the last project of Confounded is an incoming remix album, containing Electronic/Psychedelic remixes of originally Hardcore/Metal songs of Indian-American band Anand Clique, which has formed by Anand Bhatt in Chicago.IL.US
